The Hall is available to hire for a variety of events, including:
Charities
Charities are able to avail themselves special rates depending on the activity proposed.
The hall’s space is perfect for fund-raising dinner dances, quiz nights or perhaps cream teas during the Summer, using our outdoor picnic tables which face the pleasant countryside.
Community
The hall is used extensively by the local community, with Keep Fit, Pilates and Yoga classes, Country Dancing, Jive and Book Club all meeting on a regular basis. Please see ‘What’s On‘ for activity details. It is the perfect space for a playgroup, or as an all-weather start and finish point for D of E or scouting activities.
In order to support activities in the community, we welcome approaches from local community groups wishing to use the hall. Complimentary teas and coffees are available to all our regular users.
Parties/ Celebrations
The hall is the perfect space for parties, anniversary celebrations etc. The hall is a blank canvas for you to decorate in your chosen theme, with a wooden floor to dance on.
(Please note that the number of such events each year is limited and priority will be given to those living in Thurgarton and the surrounding villages).

Children’s Parties
The hall is a very popular space for children’s parties. You may decorate the hall according to the party theme, arrange your entertainment and set up tables and chairs (available in the Hall). The kitchen is free for you to use to sort out the party food.
Conferences/ Meetings
Businesses find the hall a flexible space for day hire, for presentations and seminars as well as training days.
