Thurgarton Village Hall has charitable status (Charity Number 522313), with Thurgarton Parish Council as the Sole Trustee. The trustees have appointed a management committee to run the Village Hall. This committee is the Thurgarton Village Hall Management Committee, now known as the Thurgarton Community Committee. The picturesque village of Thurgarton lies in one of Nottinghamshire’s scenic conservation areas. It has good transport links via bus and train to Nottingham City centre which is just 10 miles away.
Thurgarton Village Hall has recently undergone a COMPLETE RENOVATION, inside and out with much attention to detail.
It now offers WiFi, luxurious toilets and smart new integrated disabled access, in addition to tables and chairs, a well-stocked kitchen with cooking facilities and parking. The charming ‘traditional’ hall which can hold up to 100 people, has its own license to hold WEDDING CEREMONIES as well as WEDDING RECEPTIONS at extremely competitive rates.
The hall is a very popular venue for holding children’s birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, creative workshops and a variety of other functions.
Thurgarton Village Hall is a BLANK CANVAS for hirers to decorate in whichever theme takes their fancy. Outside the hall there are picnic tables, alongside colourful planters, providing a relaxing place to sit and admire the country views which surround the hall. The strings of outdoor lights also make this a pleasant space to socialise on a warm Spring or Summer’s evening.
