Hi Hania, we feel very lucky to have found Thurgarton Village Hall for our wedding venue. It provided us with exactly the setting we wanted for the day; a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful surroundings and all the facilities we needed to host all our friends and family. The fact that we could get married and have our reception in the same place made so much sense to us as all of our guests could enjoy the ceremony without any of the trouble of changing venues for the party. The outdoor area was perfect for catering and mobile bars and the hall was easily decorated to our liking.
Everyone we met from the Village Hall Association was friendly and helpful. We felt a part of the community ourselves by the end and would highly recommend Thurgarton Village Hall to anyone who would like to be married in a beautiful village setting. The venue cost was well priced and we felt we definitely got our monies worth. All our guests had a fantastic day and agreed that the venue was ideal, it was a memorable and hugely fun day!

Having been double-booked by our local village hall, Thurgarton village hall was able to accommodate us, so that we could host our 7 year-old daughter’s birthday disco party, with local Kid’s entertainer, DJ Mighty Mike. Thurgarton Village Hall is an ideal venue to host small family events. The hall is an excellent size, the kitchen is well-equipped, the toilets are very clean and there is ample parking, all set in a delightful location. The kids all had a great time and the parents all commented on how nice the venue is. We would highly recommend it. Many thanks to Hania and the rest of the Thurgarton Village Hall team.
