Precept…an increase of approximately 10% or £1,207 per annum was voted in, this will mean an increase of approximately 50p per month for each household. As a consequence of this increase it was agreed that the Parish Council would keep the maintenance of the village to the same standard.
Village Hall Refurbishment VAT claim….after taking professional legal and accounting advice a mistake in the VAT Claim for the Village Hall refurbishment has been acknowledged. This matter is now to be resolved by liaising with HMRC.
Village Fete 2023….please save the date of 8th May which is the Bank Holiday Monday for the King Charles Coronation
Date of Next Meeting.…the next meeting of Thurgarton Parish Council will be on Thursday, 23rd February at 7:30pm, this will be a public meeting at the Village Hall.
