St Peter’s Priory Church will be open for the duration of the time of mourning for HRH Elizabeth II to give respect for her as our monarch and as Supreme Governor of the Church of England and Defender of Faith.
There will be a portrait; a place to write condolences, thoughts and prayers; candles to light to signify prayer; and some suggested prayers printed for anyone to use and/or take away.
Please take this opportunity to spend time in this, your sacred space, for reflection and thanksgiving.
There is worship at 10.30 on Sunday (11th) at St Peter’s in which commemorative prayers will be said, also online at 9am.
The following Sunday (18th) a Benefice service of commemoration will take place in-person at St Peter & St Paul’s Upton at 10.30am and online at 9am.
