Thurgarton Parish Council Meeting 28th April

29th April 2022

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee….All parishioners are invited to attend the Thurgarton Fete on Friday, 3rd June between midday and 6pm, this is being arranged by the Parish Council and the Thurgarton Community Association. There will be a series of events held at the cricket pitch to celebrate this momentous occasion including a Dog Show, a Rounders match, Children’s Garden on a Plate, a Cake Stall and a Tug-of War competition. All entries to the events are free, food from the BBQ and drinks from the Bar are the only items to be paid for, and proceeds from the Cake Stall and any other donations will go to the Ukrainian Appeal.

Village Spring Clean….will be held on Saturday 21st May to commence at 10:30am.

Parking….To allow wheelchair users free access Parishioners are requested NOT to park on or next to a dropped kerb.

First Aid…. the Parish Council have arranged a Basic Life Support course on Wednesday, 25th May, to be held at the Village Hall 7-9:30pm. This is a free course with limited places, interested parties to contact the Clerk at clerk@thurgarton.org.uk

Date of Next Meeting.… the next meetings of Thurgarton Parish Council will be on Thursday, 28th April, the Annual Parish Meeting at 6:30pm and the May Parish Council Meeting at 7:30pm, these will be public meetings at the Village Hall.
